Part A: Ethical Dilemma Essay

Students are to identify and discuss an business-related ethical dilemma. Ideally, this choice should be relevant to your intended area of future employment. You must demonstrate both an awareness of the key issues surrounding why it is an ethical dilemma, and then propose solutions to that dilemma. A suggested format for the essay is:

Part of the learning experience of this essay is for you as the student picking and developing the dilemma yourself from either a relevant recent news event, personal professional practice experience (particularly for students who have been on placement) or similar.

Part B: Portfolio of Evidence Contents

The portfolio contents should provide evidence of your diligent engagement with the module activities including the directed learning opportunities. · Identification of the main HR issue(s) raised in the primary news article. One sentence per main issue. There is no introduction required. The statements serve as the introduction.

· A clear and accurate summary of the article (approximately 100-200 words).

Task:

This assignment focuses on communication styles and the business communication process. Students apply the communication styles to a conversation they recently experienced to better understand their own style and how it is perceived by others. Additionally, students learn the elements of the transactional communication process and how that process can be applied in a business setting. Consider a recent interpersonal conversation you had in a business setting.

Have you set up a database to capture your customers? Are your producing an email campaign, or newsletter sign-up platform? If so, display it on the website too.
